He previously worked with the Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS-Kenya) where he served in various capacities including Commission 2017 Director, Missions and Evangelism Co-ordinator and Regional Coordinator among others. Before joining FOCUS-Kenya as a fulltime staff he served as a Short-Term Experience in Ministry (STEM) staff and served as a missionary in Southern Sudan for one year.
Pastor Joe also worked in Africa Enterprise International to organize Movement Day Africa 2018 and at Missions of Hope International as the Spiritual Development Mission manager
He is a graduate of Africa International University (AIU) where he graduated with Master of Arts in Missions. A graduate of ECWA Theological Seminary in Jos Plateau State Nigeria where he graduated with a Certificate in Theology. He is also a graduate of University of Nairobi- Upper Kabete Campus with a Bachelor Of Science In Agriculture.
He is married to Rachel Kamau and together they are blessed with three children: son Joannes Kamau and two daughters: Tovia Kamau and Gianna Kamau.
Pastor Joe is passionate on youth and mission. Helping young people to grow, love and serve the Lord and mobilizing all Christians to be involved in God’s mission.
